“ What a lovely cafe! We ate there every morning during our stay at the camp site. The service is so quick and the food is very good and reasonably priced. I highly recommend ”
“ Great spot, family friendly, lovely crowd of all kinds of people: kids, couples, grandparents, cyclists, friends. We sat in the "main" bit, was very busy on a Sat at 2pm. There are outside tables, another marquee-type area, nice toilets, activities for kids, great service. The cake selection was impressive. I had chips, egg and ham and was deliciously fresh. Free parking outside. Although there is gravel outside, saw someone managing well with a pushchair, as well as a few pushchairs. Will definitely recommend and I will visit again ;) ”
“ This has become our go-to place for a coffee and a peaceful stroll through the woods. The food is always delicious, the coffee is spot on, and the cakes are a real treat. Add in the lovely, welcoming atmosphere, and it’s easy to see why we keep coming back. A real hidden gem! ”
“ I had gluten-free and dairy-free lunch. Steak sandwich was delicious. The chips are very good. Had a gluten- and dairy free brownie too which was rather dry and crumbly, but a lot of those things alike. All these topped with a soft drink cost me just a few pence over 20. There are gluten-free, vegan, and gluten&dairy-free desserts available. They're single packed to avoid cross contamination. Very thoughtful. The waiting time was a bit long, but the place was busy. ”
“ Visited The Shed near Charlbury yesterday for a Father's Day breakfast with my dad, and despite it being incredibly busy — with long queues due to the card machine having a moment — the staff handled it all brilliantly. They were polite, calm, and genuinely apologetic, which really made a difference. The atmosphere was lovely, and once our breakfast arrived, it was absolutely worth the wait. Generous portions, beautifully cooked, and served with a smile. You can tell the team really care, even under pressure. ”
“ Went for breakfast. There is plenty of parking space and a very clean site throughout. We had two Old Shed full breakfasts and two pancakes and bacon with maple syrup and two pots of tea. Great service and front of house. Happy to help, the food was served piping hot and with a smile. We will be back when we are in the area. Keep up the hard work from FOH to the kitchen. ”
“ We had breakfast and it’s definitely the best breakfast I’ve had. Hubby had large and I went for small. Top quality produce cooked perfectly and plenty of it. The staff work their socks off and are friendly and helpful. Even though it was very busy we were served quickly. The cakes looked amazing too but unfortunately we were too full to take advantage this time. Don’t pass this cafe by if you’re in the area or staying on the site! ”
“ Fantastic cafe, friendly staff and nothing to much trouble, very busy and the food offerings looked really good, on this occasion only had time for a specialty sausage roll (pork and black pudding) have to say it hit the spot and the coffee was really good too. Can’t wait to pop back in and sample some more of the menu ”
